How to lie like a christian
Begin by demonstrating that you are completely out of touch with reality.
Asserting that god "certainly need to be involved in the Supreme Court nomination process" three christian ministers snuck into the Senate Judiciary hearing room where Alito will be questioned. They touched "holy oil" to the seats where Alito, the senators, witnesses and staffers will sit in what they called a "consecration service." Then they prayed for each of the Senate committee members by name. "We did adequately apply oil to the seats," said Rev. Rob Schenck, president of the National Clergy Council in Washington.
Then deny the transparently obvious motivation behind your actions, pretending to some sort of disinterested neutrality.
The three ministers involved in the mystical ceremony insisted that they weren't taking sides in the controversy. This is not a pro-Alito prayer, asserted Rev. Patrick Mahoney, Director of the Christian Defense coalition. With abortion, public prayer, gay marriage and right-to-life issues topping public debate however, "God ...is interested in what goes on" in the nomination hearing, Rev. Schenck said.
